CHATEAU BEAUMET - THE RENEWAL IN PROGRESS!

It was in the spring of 2015 that Brigitte and Daniel Caille, then looking for a wine estate in the Var, contacted BLUE SIDE to give substance to their project.

Arnaud Courret and Tom Verger presented them with several files and it was without any hesitation that, after visiting Château Beaumet in Gonfaron, they decided to buy it.

It's obvious: the heart of the Var, the Côtes de Provence, the Maures mountains, the village of Gonfaron, Château Beaumet, this 45-hectare estate of a single piece of land with 24 hectares of vines around a prestigious bastide dating back to the 17th century, is the foundation of the family's viticultural project.

Daniel Caille, a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and founding president of the Vivalto Group, one of the leaders in private hospitalization in France, decided, in a return to the values of the land, to develop and expand this vineyard, already made up of the best grape varieties of the Côtes de Provence.

The challenge is there: the transmission of the exploitation will have to be done at the beginning of the summer.
In July, the sale was finalized and BLUE SIDE put its know-how at the service of the new owners by accompanying them in the process of taking over the farm.
Brigitte and Daniel Caille first renamed the estate, now known as Château de Beaumel, and the foundations of the restructuring were laid.

Let's wish these new winegrowers, this large-scale enterprise and this project, which will enhance the value of Provence's vineyards, all the success they deserve.
