Today, the Château Giroud AOC Côtes de Provence in Cabasse in the center of the Var has been bought by Paul AEGERTER.
At the head of the AEGERTER house, whose reputation is well known (Chablis, Hautes Côtes de Nuits, Clos Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne, Meursault, Pommard Premier Cru, Vosne-Romanée, Puligny-Montrachet, ...), Paul AEGERTER had also created a real rosé from Provence: Les Jolies Filles, lively and pleasant, with a nice balance between roundness and freshness in the mouth.
With the acquisition of Château Giroud, which produces quality wines on beautiful terroirs, Paul AEGERTER confirms its presence in Provence.
Resolutely turned towards a viticulture respectful of the environment and the consumer, he is already working on the restructuring of the domain, aiming at the certifications HVE and Organic for always more quality.
If Paul confided to Capital in 2017 that he dreamed of buying a domain in Provence, now he has!
